As I am sure everyone is aware the government has updated its advice to give a provisional date of 1st June for nurseries to reopen. There will be no oligation for children to return on this date and we understand parents may still make the decision to keep children at home, particularly if a member of the household is vulnerable.
We are currently working through a risk assessment and plans to ensure that when we open it is in as safe a way as possible.
Depending on the numbers wanting to return it may be necessary for us to implement a priority system, or alter drop off/ pick up times to implement social distancing measures.
Once we have an idea of provisional numbers wanting to return we can finalise these plans and contact parents to discuss any change to current arrangements.
If you would like your child to return to nursery in the week commencing 1st June please contact us as soon as possible to let us know.
The wellbeing of our children and staff is at the heart of everything we do, so please rest assured any descisions made will be with this in mind. We know everyone will understand we may not be able to resume our ‘normal’ service straight away but we will be working towards it as soon as possible.
We look forward to hearing from you
