Chance to make friends and for children to play together for free
Monday - 9.00am - 3.00pm (free of charge)
Wednesday - 12.30pm - 3.00pm (50p per family)

Toy Library
Parents can hire educational and stimulating toys, home safety and gym equipment. Please call 01582 594632 for more details.

Baby Babble Group
2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month (term time only)
1.00pm - 3.00pm
You can just call in any time between 1.00pm & 3.00pm for an informal chat with staff and other parents on any topic you wish to discuss i.e. breastfeeding, weaning, teething, baby's routine etc
Baby Massage (term time only)
Encourages parents and babies to bond and relax, which in turn can aid a good nights sleep.

Fathers' Forum
This is a great opportunity for all fathers/male carers in the community to meet up and discuss any topics they like such as lack of school places to what it's like to be a good father!
1st Tuesday of every month - 7.00pm - 9.00pm.
Childminder Loan & Advice Scheme
Local Childminders are able to access high quality resources for free. These are exchanged on a regular basis via our home drop-off and collection service. They include:
Story Sacks
Library Books
Teaching DVD's on assessment, observation, play and child development
Specialist advice is available on SEF completion, curriculum planning and recording and observation. Sheets for these can be obtained at the centre, or can be emailed to your home if you wish.
Midwives Clinic
Friday 10.00am - 12.00pm
52 weeks per year (excluding public holidays)
Baby Clinic (with Health Visitor)
Free health advice via a drop in service for parents of babies who have been discharged by their midwives. Come along and get your baby weighed and discuss any issues or concerns you may have with the Health Visitor.
1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month - 1.00pm - 2.45pm

A Jobcentre Plus advisor (Bernadette McAllister) is available one day a month at Greenside.
You can make an appointment to see Bernadette and if she cannot help you she will signpost you to someone who can.

Police Drop-in Surgery
(in conjunction with Bedfordshire Police & Safer Neighbourhoods)
For the local community to come in and discuss any problems, grievances or for general advice. All information is treated with the strictest confidence.

NHS LifeCheck Kiosk
NHS LifeCheck is a free, easy-to-use, online health service that will help you assess your own and your child’s health and well-being to improve future health.
Just answer a few simple questions about you, your baby or your child and NHS LifeCheck will give you confidential results, advice and support immediately in our private room at Reception. NHS LifeCheck services have been developed by the Department of Health in consultation with members of the public and health experts.
This completely FREE and confidential service can be accessed at Greenside Children’s Centre. In addition, it can be completed in many languages.
